The main idea of the Conference was to present the research results of the top representatives of research institutes and the leading authorities on the Common Agricultural Policy, especially in the three thematic areas:

• new agricultural policy and competitiveness of the agricultural and food industry enterprises,

• new agricultural policy and structural changes in rural areas and in agriculture,

• new agricultural policy and alternative forms of farming in the conditions of climate change.
